Beztak, Wexford's Boca Raton Expansion Plan Gets Green Light From City Council

Beztak and Wexford's joint venture receives approval to add 21 apartments, a fitness center, and a private school to their previously approved apartment project in Boca Raton.

A joint venture between Beztak and Wexford Real Estate, two well-established developers in the industry, has secured approval from Boca Raton's Planning and Zoning Board to expand their previously approved apartment project.

The project, known as Bocora, will now include 21 additional apartments, a fitness center, and a private school. It will be built on a 21.4-acre site within the Amtec Center business park, located at 6401 to 6421 Congress Avenue in Boca Raton.

The original project, approved as an eight-story, 277-unit building, has now been given the green light to expand and add more amenities to the development. The Boca Raton City Council will be the next to vote on the expansion, as per the planning and zoning board's recommendation.

This news may come as a surprise to some, as the project was previously met with some opposition from local residents who were concerned about the potential impact on traffic and the character of the neighborhood.

However, it seems that Beztak and Wexford's connections and influence in the industry have helped them secure this expansion approval despite any potential concerns from the community.
