British Billionaire Joe Lewis' Tavistock Development Company Completes Third Pier Sixty-Six Condo Project

Tavistock Development Company, led by British billionaire Joe Lewis, has completed its third condo project at the 32-acre Pier Sixty-Six redevelopment in Fort Lauderdale.

Tavistock Development Company, owned by British billionaire Joe Lewis, has announced the completion of its third condo project at the 32-acre Pier Sixty-Six redevelopment in Fort Lauderdale. The 11-story, 28-unit Indigo at 2301 Southeast 17 Street has received its certificate of occupancy, according to a press release.

The luxury condo building has already begun closing sales, including a record-breaking $14.5 million purchase by Randy and Rosalina Brecher for PH1. This sale marks one of the most expensive condo sales ever recorded in Fort Lauderdale and Broward County, second only to a $15.4 million sale at Four Seasons Private Residences Fort Lauderdale in 2022, according to The Real Deal.

Tavistock Development Company has faced controversy and pushback from the community throughout the development process, with concerns over the impact on the surrounding neighborhood and environment. However, the company has continued to move forward with its plans, with the completion of Indigo marking a major milestone in the project.

In response to the completion of Indigo, Tavistock Development Company spokesperson John Jones stated, "We are thrilled to announce the completion of Indigo at Pier Sixty-Six. This project is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our team, and we look forward to welcoming residents to their new luxury homes."
