Carolwood’s Parnes & Harris split, head for “next chapter”
Star agents David Parnes and James Harris are calling it quits as business partners but will remain with Beverly Hills boutique brokerage Carolwood Estates.
Star agents David Parnes and James Harris, known for their appearances on Bravo's "Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles," have announced their split as business partners. However, they will continue to work together at the Beverly Hills boutique brokerage Carolwood Estates.
In a joint statement posted on Instagram, Parnes and Harris said, "While we will be going our separate ways, our friendship remains as strong as ever. Most importantly, nothing changes when it comes to our clients." The two did not respond to The Real Deal's requests for comment or questions about the future of their team.
Parnes and Harris have been business partners for over a decade, forming the 11-agent Bond Street Partners team at Carolwood. They have made headlines for their high-profile listings and celebrity clients, including pop star Ariana Grande and NBA player DeMarcus Cousins.
The split comes as a surprise to many in the industry, as Parnes and Harris were known for their successful partnership. However, sources say that the decision was mutual and amicable, with both agents looking forward to their "next chapter" in the real estate world.
Their departure from Carolwood also raises questions about the future of the Bond Street Partners team. It is unclear if the team will continue to operate under the same name or if the remaining members will stay with Carolwood or follow Parnes and Harris to a new brokerage.
This news has sparked speculation and curiosity among industry insiders, but Parnes and Harris have not provided any further details on their future plans. For now, they remain focused on their clients and continuing to provide top-notch real estate services.
