Contingent AF: Alchemy-ABR's 30-Story Tower to Bring Luxury Rentals to Manhattan's Upper East Side
Take a peek at the latest rendering for Alchemy-ABR's 30-story luxury rental tower on Manhattan's Upper East Side.
Hill West Architects has released a new rendering for 1482 First Avenue, a 30-story residential tower being developed by Alchemy-ABR on Manhattan's Upper East Side. The 366-foot-tall structure will span 161,000 square feet and feature 86 luxury rental units and 343 square feet of commercial space.
The property, located at the intersection of First Avenue and East 77th Street, is comprised of two conjoined interior lots. The project has been met with some controversy, with some residents expressing concerns about the height of the building and its impact on the neighborhood's character.
Despite these concerns, Alchemy-ABR has moved forward with the project, which is expected to bring a touch of luxury to the Upper East Side. According to Alchemy-ABR's website, the building will feature "an innovative facade, a richly appointed lobby, and stunning interiors designed by renowned designer Paris Forino."
In a statement, Alchemy-ABR's managing partners Ken Horn and Benjamin Shaoul said, "We are excited to bring this stunning addition to the Upper East Side. Our development will provide future residents with the best of both worlds - a prime location in a historic neighborhood and modern, luxurious living."
The project is expected to be completed in 2022.
