CW Driver Companies and AC Martin Team Up for New Residence Halls at Cal State Northridge
Cal State Northridge's new Joshua Tree and Hibiscus Halls, developed by CW Driver Companies and designed by AC Martin, are set to open for the Fall 2025 semester.
Construction is officially complete on two new residence halls at Cal State Northridge, located at 17950 Lassen Street in the University Park neighborhood. The buildings, named Joshua Tree Hall and Hibiscus Hall, were developed by CW Driver Companies and designed by AC Martin.
Together, the two buildings offer 198 student beds in double-occupancy rooms, providing much needed housing for the growing student population at Cal State Northridge. The four-story buildings are located at the northeast corner of the campus, at the intersection of Lassen Street and Zelzah Avenue.
According to CW Driver Companies, the new residence halls feature modern amenities and sustainable design elements, making them a desirable living option for students. AC Martin, known for their award-winning designs, has incorporated their signature style into the buildings, creating a visually appealing addition to the campus.
"We are excited to see the completion of Joshua Tree Hall and Hibiscus Hall at Cal State Northridge," said AC Martin partner, Chris Martin. "These buildings not only provide much needed housing for students, but also add to the overall aesthetic of the campus."
Move-in for the new residence halls is scheduled for the Fall 2025 semester, giving students ample time to make their housing arrangements. With the growing popularity of Cal State Northridge, these new residence halls are sure to fill up quickly.
