According to the Miami Herald, there is a fierce competition brewing between two major developers in South Florida for the opportunity to develop the 38-acre Miami Seaquarium site on Virginia Key. The property, owned by Miami-Dade County, has attracted interest from Integra Investments, led by Paulo Tavares de Melo, and Terra, headed by David Martin.
