Madison Realty Capital and Newbond Holdings have teamed up to provide a $79.3 million refinancing deal for the 357-key JW Marriott Marquis in downtown Miami. MetLife Investment Management and MDM Group have secured the deal with the help of Madison Newbond, a hospitality financing arm of Madison Realty Capital and Newbond Holdings.

The floating rate loan has a three-year term and will refinance a previous $77.7 million loan provided by Värde Partners, a global investment firm based in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

According to Paul Stasaitis and Kevin Davis of JLL, who represented the borrowers, "The JW Marriott Marquis is an iconic property with strong market fundamentals, making it an attractive investment opportunity. This refinancing deal will provide MetLife and MDM Group with the capital needed to continue their successful ownership of the property."
