Media marketing firm Canvas Worldwide expands to El Segundo, leaving Westside for second best
Canvas Worldwide relocates to larger office space in El Segundo, highlighting the city's growing appeal to Westside tenants.
Media marketing agency Canvas Worldwide, known for its work with brands such as Hyundai and Kia, is making a move from Playa Vista to El Segundo. According to L.A. Business First, the firm is expanding its office space by 48 percent, from 36,000 square feet to 68,300 square feet.
The move to El Segundo, a city that has traditionally been seen as a secondary choice for Westside tenants, marks a significant shift in the area's real estate landscape. The company will be relocating to 2330 Utah Avenue, a property designed by famed architect Frank Gehry and owned by NSB Associates. The building boasts 24-foot ceilings, large windows, skylights, and private outdoor space.
"The new space will allow us to maintain our current team size and give us the opportunity to grow," said Paul Woolmington, chief executive of Canvas Worldwide.
Canvas Worldwide is currently located at 12015 Bluff Creek Drive and plans to move into the new office by the middle of next year. The move highlights El Segundo's appeal to Westside tenants, as the city offers a more affordable and increasingly desirable alternative to the high-priced and saturated Westside market.
