Meta Housing Corporation is submitting an application to build affordable apartments for seniors in Canoga Park's Warner Center area, demolishing a one-story office building and parking lot for 395 units.

Los Angeles-based Meta Housing Corporation is once again making headlines with their new development plans in Canoga Park's Warner Center area. According to Urbanize Los Angeles, the firm has submitted an application to build affordable apartments for senior citizens at 21010 Vanowen Street.

The proposed development will feature 395 senior apartments, rising six stories and offering one- and two-bedroom units. However, in order to make way for this new project, Meta Housing Corp plans to demolish a one-story office building and accompanying parking lot.

All apartments in the development will be reserved for low- and moderate-income households, with a maximum income limit of $89,550 for Los Angeles County. This is a strategic move on Meta Housing Corp's part, as there is a high demand for affordable housing in the area.

The project is a joint venture between Meta Housing Corp and [insert name of partner], and is expected to bring much-needed housing options for senior citizens in the area. However, the project is not without its concerns.

As with any development project, there are concerns about the impact on the surrounding community. Some residents have voiced concerns about the increased traffic and parking issues that may arise from the new development. However, Meta Housing Corp has stated that they will provide parking for 54 vehicles, which should address these concerns.

Despite these concerns, Meta Housing Corp is moving forward with their plans, fast-tracking the project in order to meet the demand for affordable housing in the area.
