Morris Adjmi's Latest Soho Project, 430 West Broadway, Finally Completes Construction

Another landmark-approved, seven-story commercial building by New Soho Associates has arrived in the Soho Cast Iron District.

After two years of construction, Morris Adjmi Architects and New Soho Associates have officially finished their latest project, 430 West Broadway. The seven-story, 40,000-square-foot building is located in the heart of the Soho Cast Iron District, between Prince and Spring Streets.

Approved by the Landmarks Preservation Commission in 2019, the project boasts office space, ground-floor retail, and community facility spaces. However, some critics have raised concerns about the development's impact on the historic district.

According to one local resident, "I appreciate the effort to preserve the neighborhood's architectural integrity, but it's disappointing to see yet another generic commercial building taking up space in Soho."

Despite the controversy, Morris Adjmi's latest project adds to the developer's impressive portfolio in the city. Known for their luxury residential and commercial developments, New Soho Associates has a strong presence in the Soho area.

As for the future of 430 West Broadway, it is reported that the building has already secured several tenants for its office and retail spaces.
