North Bay Village Investor Continues Buying Spree with Latest Waterfront Purchase from Simkins Family
Virginia investor Pawan Singh adds another North Bay Village waterfront home to his growing real estate portfolio in the three-island town.
Virginia investor Pawan Singh has been making waves in North Bay Village with his recent acquisitions of waterfront properties in the three-island town. The latest addition to his growing real estate portfolio is a waterfront home sold by the Simkins family, according to The Real Deal.
Singh has been on a buying spree in North Bay Village, shelling out a total of $61.5 million for 11 properties, most of which are located on Terrace Drive. The investor, who has been making purchases through both his own name and LLCs connected to him, has amassed at least 2.5 acres of land in the village. While not all of the properties are contiguous, Singh likely now controls over 500 feet of water frontage.
Despite his significant investments in the area, Singh remains somewhat of a mystery in the North Bay Village community. The investor has not disclosed his plans for the properties, leaving residents to speculate on what he may have in store for the prime waterfront land.
However, Singh's growing presence in the town has raised concern among some residents and city officials. North Bay Village Mayor Brent Latham expressed his worries about the potential impact of Singh's acquisitions on the community, stating, "It's not a good thing for the city to have one entity control so much of the waterfront property."
