There were 187 transactions, totaling $257 million, recorded in New York City on Sept. 3.
Residential: Jewelry designer Toni Goutal has purchased a three-bedroom, nearly 3,000-square-foot sponsor unit at The Surrey Residences in Lenox Hill for $15 million, making it the priciest residential transaction recorded in New York City on Sept. 3. The unit was listed for the same price by Douglas Elliman's Lauren Muss and Michelle Griffith.
The Surrey Residences, located at 20 East 76th Street, was purchased by British billionaires Simon and David Reuben in 2020 from the Kaufman Organization. The property, which was previously a 100-key hotel, has now been converted into luxury condominiums.
