Pause Paralyzes LA's Residential Market, But Aaron Kirman's Firm Still Ranks High
Operational backbone of Aaron Kirman's brokerage, Nina Zokhrabyan, explains the limbo of LA's high-end real estate market.
Despite ranking high on the list of top brokerages in Los Angeles County by dollar sales, Aaron Kirman's brokerage, Christie's International Real Estate Southern California, is feeling the effects of the current pause period in the city's residential market.
Nina Zokhrabyan, the operational backbone of Kirman's firm, has been through multiple market cycles and is no-nonsense when it comes to the current limbo in the market. She explains, "Every time you see a market shift there's what I call a pause period and the pause period is when the buyer and the seller are not seeing eye to eye on what the value of the property is."
While Kirman's firm may be feeling the effects of the pause, they have still managed to move up two spots on this year's ranking of top brokerages in Los Angeles County by dollar sales.
It's no surprise that the pause period is causing tension between buyers and sellers, as both parties struggle to agree on property values. This tension has resulted in a paralysis of the residential market in LA.
Despite this, Zokhrabyan remains optimistic, stating that the market will eventually "correct itself" and the pause period will come to an end. In the meantime, Kirman's firm continues to rank high and navigate through the challenges of the current market.
