Real Estate Developer Proposes Affordable Housing Complex in Jefferson Park

Commercial building to be replaced by fully affordable development.

A proposed development by Mark Judaken is set to replace a commercial building in Jefferson Park with a six-story affordable housing complex. The project, located at 3206 W. Jefferson Boulevard, will consist of 35 residential units and 1,480 square feet of ground-floor commercial space. No on-site parking is planned.

The project, designed by Mika Design Group, will cater to low- and moderate-income renters, making it eligible for development incentives. Judaken, who has also worked on mixed-income developments nearby, is known for frequently working with Mika Design Group.
