"Real Estate Firm Weichert Raises Over $160,000 for Cancer Research in Annual Charity Outing"
"Weichert's 25th Annual Charity Outing raises $165,000 for American Cancer Society and breast cancer research."
The Weichert Family of Companies has once again proven their commitment to giving back by raising a staggering $165,000 for the American Cancer Society and breast cancer research in their 25th Annual Charity Outing. The event, which has now raised a grand total of $2.307 million for the cause, was attended by top leaders and agents from the company's various offices.
This year's event featured a round of golf at the prestigious Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, New Jersey, followed by a dinner and auction. The auction included a range of items, from sports memorabilia to luxury vacations, all of which were generously donated by agents and community members.
"We are incredibly proud of our team's continued support for the American Cancer Society and breast cancer research," said Joe McDonald, president and COO of Weichert Real Estate Affiliates, Inc. "Our annual charity outing is just one of the many ways we strive to give back and make a positive impact in our communities."
The American Cancer Society and breast cancer research hold special meaning for the Weichert family, as Jacelyn "Jacé" Botti, a former Weichert employee, lost her battle with breast cancer in 2003. In her memory, the company has dedicated themselves to raising funds and awareness for these important causes.
"We are honored to have the opportunity to continue supporting the American Cancer Society and breast cancer research in Jacé's memory," said Botti's sister and Weichert's vice president of communications, Karen Scarpa. "Her spirit and legacy live on through our annual charity outing and the impact it has on those affected by this disease."
