RHOM Star and Fiancé Attorney Score Waterfront Gables Estates Mansion for $34M
Attorney Anthony Lopez and RHOM star Dr. Nicole Martin buy $34M waterfront mansion in Gables Estates at a 28% discount.
Attorney Anthony Lopez and his fiancée, former "Real Housewives of Miami" star, Dr. Nicole Martin, have made a splash in the Miami real estate market with their recent purchase of a waterfront mansion in Coral Gables' exclusive Gables Estates neighborhood. According to The Real Deal, the couple paid $34 million for the seven-bedroom, seven-and-a-half-bathroom home at 33 Arvida Parkway, which was originally listed for $47 million, resulting in a 28% discount off the asking price.
Lopez, who is a partner at a Miami law firm, told TRD that the deal closed on Friday. The gated Gables Estates neighborhood has gained attention recently for being named the most expensive one in the U.S., surpassing Beverly Hills, according to Zillow.
The seller of the mansion was developer Rafael Perez, who purchased the property in 2016 for $16.5 million and then completed a major renovation. The home features a grand foyer, marble floors, a movie theater, a gym, and a 100-foot dock with direct access to Biscayne Bay.
Despite the hefty price tag, Lopez and Martin are no strangers to high-end real estate. The couple recently sold a nearby estate for $25 million and own a $17 million mansion on Star Island.
