Sabrina Carpenter Snags Tribeca Penthouse Once Owned by Charlotte Grey and Ex Samantha Ronson
Pop star Sabrina Carpenter makes a high-profile purchase in Tribeca, buying a penthouse previously owned by a beauty mogul and her ex-girlfriend.
Sabrina Carpenter, known for her roles in Disney Channel shows and films, has made a splash in the world of real estate with her latest purchase in Tribeca. According to The Real Deal, an LLC reportedly tied to the 22-year-old pop star closed on a $9.995 million duplex at 108 Leonard Street.
The 2,900-square-foot penthouse was previously owned by Charlotte Grey, the founder of beauty brand Violet Grey, and her ex-girlfriend Samantha Ronson. The couple purchased the unit back in 2017 for $7.5 million, but recently decided to part ways with the property.
The duplex features three bedrooms, four bathrooms, and stunning city views. It also boasts high-end finishes and modern amenities, making it a prime piece of real estate in the highly coveted Tribeca neighborhood.
While the seller's identity was not immediately disclosed, the LLC tied to Carpenter's purchase hints at her involvement. However, it is not uncommon for celebrities to use LLCs to purchase properties in order to maintain privacy.
As for the seller, Grey and Ronson have since moved on from the penthouse, with Grey reportedly purchasing a $10 million home in the Hollywood Hills. Ronson, a renowned DJ, is now based in Venice, California.
With this high-profile purchase, Carpenter joins a long list of celebrities who have made Tribeca their home. The neighborhood is known for its luxurious real estate and famous residents, making it a highly sought-after area for those in the entertainment industry.
