Sephora inks lease at Brandon Miller’s East Village project

Sephora has signed a lease for a 7,800-square-foot retail space at Brandon Miller's boutique office project in the East Village.

Sephora, the popular cosmetics retailer owned by LVMH, has officially signed a lease for a 7,800-square-foot retail space at 1 St. Mark's Place in the East Village. The Real Deal has confirmed that the lease is for the ground floor of the nine-story boutique office project developed by Real Estate Equities Corporation, or REEC, before the late developer Brandon Miller passed away.

The asking rent and length of the lease have not been disclosed, and neither Sephora nor REEC principal Mark Seigel have responded to requests for comment. The deal was represented by the Retail By MONA Team, who declined to comment on the specifics.

While details are still scarce, this lease is a promising step for Miller's East Village project, which has faced its fair share of controversy and delays. With Sephora now on board, it's clear that the project is moving forward, and who knows, maybe they'll even throw in some free samples for the office tenants?
