Stellar MLS Teams Up with CRMLS and Bright MLS for Cross-Continental Data Partnership

Industry giants join forces to expand customer listing access through California and Mid-Atlantic regions.

In a major move that will impact the real estate industry, Florida and Puerto Rico's largest multiple listing service, Stellar MLS, has announced a partnership with California Regional MLS (CRMLS) and Bright MLS to provide customers with expanded listing access. Under the program Reciprocal MLS Access, a collaborative agreement between multiple MLS organizations, customers will now be able to search and view listings in both the California and Mid-Atlantic regions.

The partnership aims to streamline the buying and selling process for customers across multiple markets, allowing for a more efficient and comprehensive search experience. According to Stellar MLS CEO, David Gumpper, "This partnership will provide our customers with greater access to listings in highly sought-after markets, making the buying and selling process even easier."

The collaboration between Stellar MLS, CRMLS, and Bright MLS is a significant step towards creating a more unified and connected real estate market. As CRMLS CEO Art Carter stated, "The real estate market is no longer limited to local boundaries. This partnership allows us to provide our customers with more opportunities and options."

While the partnership has been met with enthusiasm from those involved, there are some concerns about the potential impact on smaller, local MLS organizations. According to Bright MLS CEO, Brian Donnellan, "We recognize there may be concerns from smaller MLS organizations, and we are committed to working with them to address any potential challenges."

This cross-continental data partnership marks a major milestone for the real estate industry, as industry leaders continue to find ways to adapt and evolve in an ever-changing market. As Gumpper states, "This is just the beginning. We are constantly looking for ways to improve and enhance the customer experience."
